The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the arrangements for the draw of the qualifying matches for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Morocco. The draw will take place tomorrow, Thursday, at 12:30 PM GMT, with the participation of 48 countries. CAF stated that the participating teams will be divided into 4 levels, each level consisting of 12 teams, determined according to the FIFA ranking.
The qualifiers will consist of 12 groups, each containing 4 teams (from Group A to Group L), with the top two teams from each group qualifying alongside one team from the group that includes Morocco. CAF announced the official classification to be used in the draw as follows:
- **Level One:** Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria, Cameroon, Mali, South Africa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ghana.
- **Level Two:** Cape Verde, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Zambia, Benin, Angola, Uganda, Namibia, Mozambique, Madagascar.
- **Level Three:** Kenya, Mauritania, Congo, Tanzania, Guinea-Bissau, Libya, Comoros, Togo, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Malawi, Central African Republic.
- **Level Four:** Niger, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Gambia, Burundi, Liberia, Ethiopia, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, South Sudan, Chad.
