Dr. Alexey Kabanov, a Russian nutrition expert, has revealed the type of ice cream that should be avoided entirely due to certain additives. The expert emphasizes that it is essential to read and study the composition of ice cream before purchasing it. He highlights the most dangerous additives (E numbers) present in it. According to him, one should first be aware of the sugar content in ice cream. He states, "Ice cream is a very fatty and sweet product. The combination of animal fats and sugar has severe consequences – cardiovascular diseases, obesity, diabetes, and dementia."
According to him, the most dangerous E additives are: emulsifiers (soy lecithin, E476); stabilizers (carob gum, guar gum, E407); glazing agents (E904); colorings (E150); acid regulators (E270, E331). He points out that these additives are used by foreign ice cream manufacturers. He warns, "If the ice cream contains more than three E additives, it cannot be considered natural. Therefore, it is not advisable to buy it because the listed additives harm the digestive system and weaken the sensitivity of taste buds."
The expert recommends consuming plant-based ice cream made from soy milk and protein, as it is healthier than ice cream made from cow's milk.
