Houthi: We Will Respond in Kind, Banks for Banks

The leader of the Yemeni "Ansar Allah" movement, Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, stated that "the espionage cells operating for America in Yemen are part of a scheme of corruption and infiltration, and there are still cells that will soon be revealed," asserting that "the vast and advanced American capabilities in all fields have failed to stop our operations and target our capabilities and factories."

In a speech marking the beginning of the Hijri year, he clarified that "the Americans intimidated others with their aircraft carriers and tried to pressure them and instill psychological defeat in states. However, during the support operation for Gaza, the situation of the American carriers changed, and they became targeted, with our forces pursuing and targeting them. The mission of the American aircraft carriers in the sea has turned into a mission of retreat rather than attack."

Al-Houthi remarked that "Israeli maritime navigation has been disrupted for nearly half, and in the Red Sea, it is nearly non-existent. The naval operations have had an impact on both the Israeli and American economies, as well as the British, and there is no doubt that the effect on the British economy is related to the fall of the government this week."

He added, "The Americans are used to involving others to bear the heavy burdens and share in the losses and failures with them. The Europeans tried to deal intelligently with American pressures, and the participation of some was purely defensive, while European warships participated in intercepting drones without bombing our country."

Al-Houthi pointed out that "the Americans want to entangle Saudi Arabia in a comprehensive war, meaning a return to the situation with us as it was at the height of the escalation, while the Saudis have no case, and there is no justification for their aggressive actions against our people other than serving the Israelis."

He emphasized that "the Americans know the negative effects of transferring the banks on the livelihoods of the Yemeni people, its currency, and prices in the country. The Americans have sent us messages indicating that they will push the Saudi regime towards aggressive steps, and American visits to Saudi Arabia have taken place for that purpose."

He affirmed, "We will respond to everything in kind: banks for banks, Riyadh airport for Sana'a airport, ports for ports. We will say to the banks in Riyadh to relocate and depart, do you accept this? Do you consider it something logical? Why do you want to impose it on our country? If the Saudi regime is convinced to get involved with the Americans and provide financial and media support to the Jews, that is their choice, and the consequences are severe for them. He stressed that entanglement with the Americans and Israelis would harm Saudi interests and security and bring danger to their oil."

Al-Houthi added, "When you force us into choices we have no choice but to take, we will act with full conviction and assurance because we are already in war, siege, and suffering, and we will not allow the destruction of our people and lead them to complete collapse just to avoid a problem; let a thousand problems arise." He clarified that "the Saudi regime still arrests Hamas leaders in prisons and criminalizes the movement's stance against the enemy. We have offered the Saudi regime to release its pilots in exchange for Hamas prisoners, but they did not accept that for the sake of the enemy."
