The United Arab Emirates welcomed the crossing of the first batch of life-saving humanitarian aid to Sudan through the Adre border crossing with Chad. The UAE mission to the United Nations stated in a tweet on its X platform account that these supplies are essential for those at risk of famine who are in dire need of critical assistance. The Sudanese government announced that it would allow humanitarian aid to pass through the Adre crossing on the border with Chad. The seven international and regional parties participating in the conference hosted by Switzerland to resolve the Sudanese crisis welcomed the move.
