A girl was killed and three Palestinian women were injured this morning, Tuesday, by Israeli army gunfire in the Tulkarem refugee camp. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that it transferred the victim and three injuries from shrapnel of Israeli army bullets, one of whom was hit in the eye, to Thabet Thabet Hospital, while the Israeli army prevented its crews from moving within the Tulkarem camp and targeted them directly, according to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa."
In this context, local sources informed "Wafa" that several Palestinians were killed in the Al-Hamam neighborhood after being targeted by an Israeli drone. A young man (30 years old) was shot three times in the thigh, hand, and abdomen early today and was transferred to the hospital for treatment.
It is noteworthy that more than 25 military vehicles, including several heavy bulldozers, invaded the Tulkarem camp, initiating demolition and destruction of infrastructure and Palestinian properties, including vehicles and shops, and obstructing the entrances of homes with heaps of dirt and stones, sealing off the alleys of the camp.
The military operation focused on the neighborhoods of "Qaqoun, Al-Balawneh, Abu Al-Foul, and the schools" at the main northern entrance and the western entrance adjacent to the governorate, while simultaneously imposing a siege on all its entrances and access routes, amid heavy gunfire.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided several Palestinian homes around the camp. The Israeli demolitions within the camp neighborhoods caused power outages and water shortages for some areas, and significant disruptions to internet networks in the city and camp, amid intensive low-altitude surveillance drone flights.
