Arab delegations will participate in the 33rd Olympic Games, set to kick off next Friday in Paris, carrying a total of 130 diverse medals won by their athletes throughout their Olympic history. Egypt is the first Arab country to participate in the Summer Olympic Games (Stockholm 1912), and the Egyptian Olympic champion Mr. Mohamed Nasir, known as Sid Nasir, was the first Egyptian and Arab to win a gold medal in the Summer Olympics (Amsterdam 1928).

Egypt tops the list of Arab countries with the most Olympic medals, having won a total of 38 medals, including eight gold, 11 silver, and 19 bronze. Morocco follows with 24 medals, which include seven gold, five silver, and 12 bronze, while Algeria ranks third with 17 diverse medals.
