Broad Israeli Incitement Against Lebanon: Destroy Beirut

Israeli political officials from both the government and the opposition have called for a violent response to the rocket attack that resulted in the deaths of 12 people in Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights, with Tel Aviv blaming "Hezbollah" for the incident.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated via "X" that the time for action has come, and that all of Lebanon should pay the price.

**Ben Gvir**

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said, "Since October 8, I have stated that we are at war in the north and that we must defeat the enemy, but the decision-makers in Israel have avoided acknowledging that we are in a battle against Israel." He called for a war in the north now.

**Katz**

Foreign Minister Israel Katz indicated that he is preparing for an international campaign to gain support and legitimacy for an Israeli operation in Lebanon. He told the "Times of Israel," "Israel is approaching a moment of all-out war against Hezbollah and Lebanon," affirming that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah would be eliminated along with his group if such a war breaks out, warning that Lebanon would be heavily harmed.

**Minister of Culture and Sports**

Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar urged Israel to stop procrastinating and to deliver a decisive blow to "Hezbollah," stating, "The longer we delay the campaign, the more painful the costs we pay will be."

**"Tear Beirut Apart"**

Additionally, Knesset member Michal Boskila from the "New Hope" party called for "tearing Beirut apart." Avigdor Lieberman, leader of the "Yisrael Beitenu" party, argued that Nasrallah must pay the price for his actions.

**Gantz**

Benny Gantz, who resigned from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition in June, promised to provide broad support from outside the government for any firm and effective response that would restore security for the northern citizens.

**Lapid**

Opposition leader Yair Lapid demanded in a statement that the government put an end to neglecting the north. He accused Netanyahu of shirking his responsibilities, noting that "the fact that he has not yet decided to return to Israel from the United States is another shameful indication of his incapacity, complete detachment, and above all that he cares about nothing but himself."

Knesset member Merav Michaeli from the leftist Labor Party insisted that "everyone who fired these rockets must pay a heavy price."
