Aboud Assigns Beirut Police to Remove Violations of Public Property

The Public Relations Department of the Beirut Municipality stated in a press release that, "In continuation of the campaign to remove violations of public property in the city of Beirut, the Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Aboud, has sent several letters to the Beirut Police Command in the Internal Security Forces, requesting them to instruct the necessary parties to remove all violations and infringements from some streets and neighborhoods in the city. The letters included the following points:

1. Instruct the necessary parties to remove violations of public property, such as the placement of stalls, vegetable carts, iron barriers, chains, and water tanks in the area of Al-Tariq Al-Jadidah No. 56 along Sadra Street No. 90, especially in front of property 5809 in Al-Mazraa, and to report violations continuously while removing them and informing us of the results as soon as possible.

2. Instruct the necessary parties to remove violations of public property by the placement of goods, tires, and motorcycle repairs, as well as reserving parking spaces in the area of Al-Tariq Al-Jadidah No. 56 on Al-Husseini St. No. 63, and to report violations continuously while removing them and informing us of the results as soon as possible.

3. Instruct the necessary parties to remove violations and infringements on public property from the placement of goods and stands on the public domain (mini market of Al-Lahham) in the area of Al-Malay No. 55 on Mohammad Ali Bayhum Street No. 82 branching from Al-Labess Street in front of Al-Sabil Square, and to report violations continuously while removing them and informing us of the results as soon as possible.

4. Instruct the necessary parties to remove violations and infringements on public property from the cornering of several water tanks on the public domain in the area of Al-Malay No. 55 on Suleiman Al-Boustani Street in front of Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque, and to report violations continuously while removing them and informing us of the results as soon as possible.

5. Instruct the necessary parties to remove violations of public property, such as placing flower pots and reserving parking on the public domain (Snack Abu Khaled) in the area of Al-Malay No. 55 on Omar Frok Street No. 56, and to report violations continuously while removing them and informing us of the results as soon as possible.

6. We confirm our previous letter No. 9994/2022 dated 27/1/2023 regarding the need to instruct the necessary parties to suppress violations and infringements on public property, including the placement of a coffee kiosk on the public sidewalk and reserving parking spaces and other actions without legal permission on the wall of the municipal playground opposite the Arab University on Al-Mufti Sheikh Hassan Khaled Street in the area of Al-Malay No. 55 that have not yet been removed, and to report violations continuously while removing them and informing us of the results as soon as possible."
