#### Event Details

After a competition that brought together 15 contestants for the Miss Lebanon 2024 pageant, Nida Koussa was crowned queen, with the crown being handed to her by Yasmina Zitoun, the previous Miss Lebanon 2022/2023 and first runner-up in the Miss World competition. After a two-year hiatus, the Miss Lebanon pageant returned to the LBCI screen and was held at the waterfront in Beirut, with the event hosted by Amy Sayah and featuring a performance by the artist Elissa, who sang three songs.

The event's host, actress and media personality Imane Sayah, asked Nida Koussa a common question posed to the contestants: "If you enter social media after this evening and read negative comments, how would you deal with them?" Koussa responded, "Negative comments happen for sure, as everyone has the right to express themselves. I will receive comments with an open mind and focus on the positive feedback to help me grow in life, while negative comments are destructive and lead us nowhere, only creating negativity... I will ignore them and continue my life by only looking at the positives."

Koussa stated, "Everything changed tonight; tomorrow is a new life and a new perspective. I will see what I want to change and how I can help convey my message." Regarding the pageant's slogan, "Empowering Women," Koussa revealed details about the cause she aims to champion as Miss Lebanon 2024: "My cause is the mental health of women and prioritizing it in their lives."
