Israeli army spokesperson Avichai Adraee confirmed today, Thursday, the death of Mohammed Deif, the military wing leader of Hamas. Adraee stated: "Warplanes accurately targeted the compound where both Mohammed Deif and Ra'ed Salameh, the commander of Hamas' Khan Younis brigade, were hiding. Salameh has already been confirmed killed several weeks ago. Along with Deif and Salameh, several other militants were eliminated." He added, "Over the past few years, he has been directing, planning, and executing numerous terrorist schemes against the State of Israel. Deif worked closely with the terrorist known as Yahya Sinwar and managed Hamas' terrorist activities in the Gaza Strip during the war, issuing instructions and orders to Hamas' military leaders."
