Hezbollah issued a statement mourning Fouad Shokor, stating: "After a rich journey filled with faith in God, a covenant with God, and sincerity in this faith and covenant, along with tireless and relentless struggle and a long wait for the meeting with God Almighty and the loved ones who preceded him among his brothers, leaders, martyrs, and self-sacrificing fighters—in profound longing for this meeting—God Almighty granted His steadfast, sincere, and loving servant the high honor of martyrdom, allowing him to enjoy this eternal meeting in the pleasure and proximity of God. He is the great jihadist leader, dear brother and beloved, Mr. Fouad Shokor (Mr. Mohsen), whom we mourn as a great martyr on the path to Jerusalem. Our resistance presents him as a symbol of its decisive commitment and steadfast determination to continue the fight until the liberation of the land, holy sites, and humanity from the oppression, savagery, and crimes of this occupying and murderous entity. He stands as a symbol of its great giants, the architects of its victories, strength, and prowess, and one of its battlefield leaders who never abandoned the struggle until the last breath."
"Just as his direct presence in our lives was a distinctive strength of the resistance, his great martyrdom will be a powerful impetus for his fellow fighters to steadfastly and courageously advance in preserving accomplishments, victories, potentials, and achieving the goals and hopes that this great leader aspired to."
"His martyrdom comes during the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), whom he loved dearly, further enhancing our resolve and determination to reject humiliation and refuse subjugation, ensuring we do not surrender in shame."
"We extend our condolences and congratulations to our master, the Imam of the Age (peace be upon him), to the esteemed leader Imam Khamenei (may his shadow endure), and to all fighters and resistors in every arena, as well as to the loyal and sincere people of resistance for the martyrdom of this great jihadist leader. We particularly address his noble family, asking God Almighty to bestow upon them beautiful patience and the best rewards in this world and the hereafter and to accept this dear one from us and them, reuniting him with the Messenger of God and his pure household (peace be upon them), and associating him with the radiant caravan of the martyrs of Karbala."
"This is our statement of condolences and congratulations, while our political stance regarding this heinous aggression and great crime will be expressed by the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, His Eminence Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, tomorrow during the funeral procession of the martyr leader, God willing."
