Minister of Labor in the caretaker government, Mustafa Bayram, confirmed that "the Lebanese government is doing everything necessary to prevent the expansion of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon." In an interview with Sputnik Radio, Bayram stated, "Lebanese officials have received several communications that made us proud of the presence of a resistance that stood against the Israeli army and caused it confusion, leading it to study the nature of its response." He added that "the Lebanese authorities responded to the international warnings that arrived and confirmed that Hezbollah does not joke, and its silence indicates great confidence that it can deliver painful strikes to the Israeli army."
He continued, "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to show the Israelis that he has not abandoned northern Israel and the Golan and is trying to create this sedition by instigating a condemned massacre against our Syrian Druze brothers in Majdal Shams." He pointed out that "the former leader of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, and the Druze leaders took a unique stance alongside the resistance, which undermined the Israeli narrative claiming that the rocket that hit the Golan was fired from Hezbollah."
He emphasized that "Hezbollah has succeeded in imposing a certain tempo in this confrontation and has been destroying and striking Israeli positions for 10 months. It is documenting this as a clear message that all Israeli facilities and infrastructure are within the range of the resistance's missiles and are waiting for the order to target them."
He concluded by saying that "the airlines that canceled their flights to Rafic Hariri International Airport - Beirut made the same decision regarding Tel Aviv Airport, thus establishing a new equation for the first time: the suspension of flights at Beirut Airport means the suspension of flights at Tel Aviv Airport."
