The military police in Poland have arrested Pavel B., a teacher at the Military Academy of Arts in Warsaw, for stealing personal files of military personnel and staff from specialized security agencies. TVN24 reported that he was found with personal data of a significant number of security agency members. During searches at the residence of this military historian, approximately 3,000 personal files of military individuals, especially those who served in special forces, were discovered. Additionally, child pornography materials were found in his possession.
The Warsaw Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed to the television channel the arrest of Pavel B. and mentioned that the investigation is ongoing. They noted that an official statement regarding this case is being prepared and will be published by the evening of July 31 or the morning of August 1. According to TVP Info, the Military Counterintelligence Service is investigating the visits made by the detainee in recent years to Vitebsk in Belarus.
Earlier, Polish judge Tomasz Schmidt fled to Belarus and requested political asylum in Minsk, emphasizing that he did so out of feeling threatened in his home country. The judge confirmed that he resigned from his position in protest against Warsaw's policies towards Minsk and Moscow.
