The Secretary-General of "Hezbollah," Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, addressed the audience today, Thursday, by extending condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh. He stated, "We are partners with Hamas in resistance and martyrdom, and we will create the inevitable victory."
He then discussed the killing of Hezbollah military commander Fuad Shokr, saying, "What happened in the southern suburbs of Lebanon is aggression, not just an assassination." He noted, "In the incident in Majdal Shams, we previously denied responsibility for the shelling after conducting our investigations; if we were truly behind it, we would have announced it." He stated, "We presented hypotheses regarding what happened in Majdal Shams, including the possibility of an Israeli interceptor missile falling." He pointed out, "When the Israelis found that most of the victims in Majdal Shams were children and women, they decided to proceed with accusing us."
Nasrallah affirmed, "The truth is that the aggression on the southern suburbs is not a response to what happened in Majdal Shams but part of the war." He mentioned that "the awareness and firm positions of several Druze leaders in Lebanon and Syria helped quell the sedition."
He said, "The Israelis do not know which red lines they have crossed, and we have entered a new phase on all fronts of support," emphasizing that "today the enemy must await the vengeance of the honorable in this nation and their retribution for all the blood that has been shed."
Turning to Israel, he said, "Laugh a little, and you will weep a lot," adding, "Wait for our response, which will undoubtedly come regarding the aggression against the southern suburbs and the assassination of Fuad Shokr; there is no discussion or debate, and the days and nights and the battlefield are between us."
He announced that "the enemy does not know from where our response will come, whether from the north of Palestine or its south, and whether it will be scattered or simultaneous," indicating that "we are searching for a real response, not a symbolic one as some promote; it will be a very calculated response."
Hezbollah today mourned its leader Fuad Ali Shokr, known as "Sayyid Mohsen," who was assassinated by Israel in the southern suburbs.
