Hamas Condemns Israel's Delivery of 80 Decayed Bodies

The Hamas movement commented on Israel's delivery to the Palestinian side of more than 80 bodies today, Monday, highlighting the "sadism of the occupation and the unprecedented level of crime after the bodies arrived in a state of complete decomposition." The movement stated, "The criminal occupation's handover today of more than eighty martyrs' bodies in a state of complete decay, without any ability to identify them, highlights the sadism of the occupation and the unprecedented crime in human history, a crime committed by the Nazi occupation army by killing unarmed civilians in hospitals and shelters, abducting their bodies, desecrating the graves of martyrs and the dead, and transferring them to occupation centers."

It continued, "These horrific violations are part of the brutal genocide and the attempts of the fascist occupation government to destroy and undermine the means of life in the Gaza Strip through its ongoing sadistic crimes, increasing the suffering of the families of martyrs and the missing who seek to know the fate of their abducted sons or to bury their martyrs in a manner befitting them. This requires the international community to take a clear stance rejecting and condemning it, and to work on holding the leaders of the occupation accountable for these horrific inhumane practices."

Earlier today, Palestinian medical sources reported that 84 bodies were buried in a mass grave in the Turkish cemetery in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, after being handed over by Israel to the Palestinian side through the Karam Abu Salem crossing. They stated, "The occupation delivered the bodies of 84 martyrs that it had abducted from graves in the Gaza Strip."
