Repeated Fires in a House in Egypt... A Nightmare Like a Horror Film

Like in horror and thriller movies, a small house in the Dakahlia Governorate of Egypt has experienced repeated fires for no apparent reason, with the flames igniting again and again over the last six months. The fires began in the apartment located on the second floor of the house, where all contents were burnt. The residents of the apartment called the fire department, which arrived and extinguished the fire; however, after a few hours, the fire reignited in the same apartment without any clear cause.

The residents decided to move to the first floor of the house, but the fire followed them again after three months, burning everything inside the new apartment as well. Similar to the previous incident, the civil defense forces controlled the flames, but the fire returned to reignite over 11 more times.

Mohamed Ibrahim, the owner of the house, spoke to Al Arabiya.net and said, "The story began about six months ago, just days before Ramadan, when the apartment on the second floor caught fire without knowing the reasons behind it. We investigated for a possible electrical short circuit or other causes but found nothing." He added that after some time, he and his family decided to move to the first floor to avoid the fire occurring again, but less than three months later, the flames returned, affecting the new apartment and continuing for several consecutive days, with local residents assisting in extinguishing the fire.

A Never-Ending Nightmare

The homeowner continued, "Everything in the house was burnt; nothing remained but ashes, and we ended up living on the street without knowing the reasons for the fires in the apartments for six months. We decided to live in another house," while he requested assistance to understand what happened and to know the causes of these repeated fires that he and his family have suffered for long months, which felt like an unending nightmare.
