The Israeli army stated today, Friday, that it "destroyed an underground tunnel path approximately 3 kilometers long in the corridor of central Gaza, finding inside it weapons, ammunition, and sleeping quarters." Spokesman for the Israeli army Avichai Adraee mentioned that "combat teams from the 252nd division are operating in the corridor area of central Gaza, where forces in recent weeks have been working to locate and study underground tunnel paths, in addition to neutralizing hundreds of operatives and destroying hundreds of infrastructures." Adraee highlighted that "engineering forces from the southern command and the Yahalom engineering unit studied and destroyed a multi-story branched tunnel, about 3 kilometers long, containing several rooms and combat tools, as well as facilities for long-term staying utilized by Hamas operatives."
