Amid speculation regarding the timing and nature of Iran's response to Israel, accused of assassinating Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniya, the Iranian news agency "Defence Press" published a list it described as the "Resistance Axis Target List" that could potentially be targeted. This includes military sites, airports, and the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to the Iranian agency, "Israelis are concerned that the retaliatory response from the Resistance Axis will encompass a wide range of strategic and sensitive targets, significantly endangering Israel's existence."
The agency did not mention Iran's contribution to these targetings despite threats from senior Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, to avenge Haniya's killing. According to the agency's report: "Despite ongoing international efforts to prevent the region from being drawn into a full-scale war and to stop the Resistance Axis from responding to assassinations in Beirut and Tehran, it is evident to anyone following regional developments that a response from the Resistance Axis is guaranteed."
"Defence Press" cited remarks from Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, highlighting that he confirmed in his recent speech that "the issue of response has been resolved, and the nature of this response will differ from previous ones, with the field determining when and where this response will occur."
#### List of Potential Targets
"Defence Press" believes that Israelis think the attacks carried out by the "Resistance Axis" could target "a wide range of strategic and sensitive sites, posing a severe threat to the existence of (Israel)," leading to hundreds of thousands of Israelis seeking safe refuge due to fears of imminent retaliation from the Resistance Axis without knowledge of the scale of these attacks.
The Iranian state news agency outlined "some strategic and vital Israeli targets" that Tehran-aligned militias could potentially target as follows:
1. **Israeli Government Centers:**

The agency considers these sites as the most vital and sensitive installations that could be targeted in any potential conflict, and there is a general consensus that such an attack will undoubtedly occur in the near future.
Even though "Defence Press" noted that "Israel is in the eye of the storm and despite possessing many military, intelligence, and technological capabilities, along with unlimited support from its allies worldwide, it does not enjoy high strategic depth or security, nor does it have sufficient manpower to face a multi-front war," the agency did not mention any role for Iran in this potential attack.
