Wanted: Impersonating UN Employee

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces, based on the directives of relevant judicial authorities, has circulated a "photo of an unidentified person, wanted by the judiciary, who impersonates an employee of the United Nations Commission in Beirut. He deceives his victims by promising to secure travel visas for immigration and takes money from them for processing these transactions, while evading capture."

The General Directorate has requested that "anyone who knows anything about him or his whereabouts should come to the Sidon Judicial Detachment at the Judicial Police Unit, located in the Internal Security Forces Compound in Harat Sidon - Tell Mar Elias, or contact one of the following numbers: 754308-07 – 729147-07, to provide any information they may have, noting that anyone contributing any information will remain anonymous, in accordance with the law."
