Assassination of al-Daif: Israel Planted Dozens of Agents Surrounding His Home

The "Jewish Chronicle" reported that security sources revealed new details about the assassination of Hamas leader Mohammed al-Daif. According to the site, Mossad agents disguised themselves as beggars and vegetable vendors in the market, aiding in tracking al-Daif until his assassination.

The report states that the operation began when Israel discovered that Mohammed al-Daif had stopped following his security protocols, making him more vulnerable to targeting. After receiving reliable information from local informants and secret Israeli undercover units, they became aware of the potential timing of al-Daif's next visit to a strategic point. At this stage, the Israeli army began planning his assassination.

According to the report, an undercover team from the "Duvdevan" unit arrived in the area and started blending in with the local population. Some fighters pretended to be UNRWA officials providing assistance, while others posed as Islamic religious figures. Additionally, it was reported that two undercover agents were stationed near his home, responsible for recording the time of al-Daif's arrival. One disguised as a vegetable stall vendor set up a stand at the main entrance of the building, where al-Daif was expected to enter. The second agent sat near the same entrance, disguised as a shabby elderly man appearing like a beggar.

After several tense hours for Israel and the field forces, al-Daif was finally seen entering the building. The signal was given, and the ground forces headed towards the sea to escape from the sector, where they were picked up by an Israeli naval vessel without raising suspicions. Five minutes later, two planes began attacking the target, with the first aircraft striking the building and completely destroying it.
