A security source in Nineveh reported on Tuesday that four people were killed due to a tribal dispute south of Mosul, noting that among the victims were two sons of the perpetrator's sister. The source stated that "an old tribal dispute renewed this afternoon in the village of Al-Nidas in the Shura district (south of Mosul), resulting in the death of four individuals by gunfire."

The source explained that "two of the deceased were the sons of the perpetrator’s sister, who is being pursued by the police for his arrest, and another victim is their uncle."
