Arrest of a Drug Dealer in Ouzai

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement: "As part of the continuous monitoring carried out by the Internal Security Forces to curb drug trafficking and promotion in various Lebanese areas, information was received about an unknown individual packaging and storing drugs inside a house in the Ouzai area, in addition to trafficking and promoting them to customers. Following this, the relevant units began their field and investigative procedures, and as a result of investigations and inquiries, the Information Branch managed to uncover his identity and identify the house used by him for storing, packaging, trading, and promoting drugs in the Ouzai area. His name is: A. A. N. (born in 1960, Lebanese), who has a criminal record for theft and drug offenses, and there is an arrest warrant issued against him for drug-related crimes. On 29-7-2024, after precise monitoring and surveillance, one of the branch's patrols raided his home and arrested him inside. Upon searching his residence, the following was found:

- A plastic box labeled "x5n" containing approximately 21.1 grams of cocaine

- A plastic box containing approximately 34 grams of cocaine

- A paper note containing approximately 0.8 grams of cocaine

- A plastic box containing approximately 13.3 grams of a type of drug known as 'the hit'

- A plastic box containing 4 pieces in green, pink, and orange of 'MD' weighing approximately 4 grams

- A plastic box containing approximately 3.1 grams of a type of hashish

- A bag containing approximately 55.7 grams of cannabis

- A bag containing approximately 100 grams of marijuana

- 29 tablets of tramadol

- Two military rifles and a pistol with its ammunition, a sensitive scale, 65 empty plastic boxes, a strainer, two mobile phones, and a sum of money.

During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him regarding the storage and packaging of drugs inside his house in the Ouzai area, as well as trafficking and promoting them to several customers between Ouzai and Sabra. Legal measures were taken against him, and he, along with the seized items, was referred to the relevant authority based on judicial instructions."
