In a surprising update regarding the crisis of artist Haifa Wehbe and the decision to suspend her work permits in Egypt by the Actors' Syndicate due to her breach of a contractual agreement, it has been revealed by Rimass Production, the party that filed the complaint, new developments concerning the complaint made to the Actors' Syndicate against Haifa Wehbe.
The company stated in a press release that "there was indeed a disagreement dating back to 2017 between Rimass and Haifa Wehbe's then-manager. Consequently, we recently filed a complaint with the Actors' Syndicate, and communication took place between them and producer Isaac Ibrahim, clarifying the matter."
It was explained that the complaint submitted to the Syndicate, headed by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, was withdrawn on Wednesday evening. For his part, producer Isaac Ibrahim confirmed that there are no conflicts with Haifa Wehbe, as they have maintained a relationship of affection and respect for years, and there is expected to be artistic cooperation in the upcoming period.
The Syndicates of Music and Acting issued a joint statement regarding Haifa Wehbe's crisis, in which Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the head of the Actors' Syndicate, addressed his counterpart Mustafa Kamel, head of the Musicians' Syndicate, with an official letter, as they are both representatives of the Federation of Artistic Syndicates.
The statement added: "Ashraf Zaki requested of Mustafa Kamel to activate the role of the Federation of Syndicates in the necessary legal, moral, and administrative cooperation, as Haifa Wehbe breached her contractual terms with a film production company, despite receiving the contractual down payment, and did not adhere to the decisions made by the investigation committee of the Actors' Syndicate, which led to her suspension from work and the prohibition of issuing new permits."
Meanwhile, the Musicians' Syndicate, headed by artist Mustafa Kamel, decided to investigate Haifa Wehbe regarding her breach of an agreement to host a concert in North Coast and receiving the agreed amount, which caused significant financial damages to the concert organizer.
