What Awaits the Gatherings' Killer After the Prosecution's Argument and Crime Videos?

The Cairo Criminal Court, convening in the Fifth Settlement, will tomorrow, Tuesday, hold a decisive session regarding the fate of the killer allegedly responsible for the murder of three women and disposing of their bodies on the desert road between the Cairo, Port Said, and Ismailia governorates. The court will hear arguments from the defense before determining the defendant's fate in the same session.

Details of the Gatherings' Killer's Crimes:

The Public Prosecution announced on May 28 that they received notification on May 16 about the discovery of an unidentified woman's body found on June 30 road in Port Said Governorate. The prosecution ordered the collection of fingerprints and forensic photography of the victim’s body to establish her identity.

Police investigations identified the victim through her fingerprints, confirming that she was married. The investigations also led to the identification of her killer, named "Karim Mohamed Selim," who had met her and took her to his residence in Katameya to consume drugs, then killed her and disposed of her body where it was found.

The defendant was arrested along with the vehicle used to transport the body and two mobile phones belonging to him. He confessed to meeting women, bringing them to his home for unusual activities, before killing them after consuming drugs and recording the acts with his phones.

Upon analyzing the defendant's phones, it was revealed that he recorded the murder of a second woman, whose body was found on April 13 along the June 30 road toward Ismailia governorate. The Public Prosecution ordered a review of the cases of unidentified bodies found around the time of these incidents and in the vicinity of the defendant's residence.

It was found that there was a report numbered 19053 for the year 2023 concerning the finding of a third woman's body, which shared similar circumstances with the others. The defendant has been referred to criminal trial for the murder of three women.
