Title: Before Qahlan: Little Noise and Many Victories

The distinguished Ja'fari Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Qahlan affirmed in a statement that "the people of the South do not need approval from anyone, and nothing is greater for them than Lebanon's interests and its sovereign victories. There are no disasters in the South; rather, there is dignity, glory, and sacrifices as significant as Lebanon's and the region's honor. The worth of Lebanon derives from the South and its frontlines of victories, and what the people of the South contribute to Lebanon amounts to more than a thousand years of sovereignty, nationalism, nobility, dignity, and glory. Displacement is part of the struggle for patience, sovereignty, and victories befitting a country engaged in the battle against Washington's interference in Lebanon's sovereignty and its regional interests. The outcry belongs to the displaced Zionist, not to Southern Lebanon, where the people hold only pride, honor, sovereignty, and victories. The legislative authority of the parliament revolves around the national necessities for those who believe this country is a homeland above sects." He added: "In the national domain, the constitution is based on national necessities, not on sectarian whims and interests. Nabih Berri is the key to the parliament and has the historical experience to determine national necessities in addition to what preserves the covenant of Lebanon and its sovereign and national values." Qahlan addressed the leader of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, saying: "Less noise and more victories, what is suitable for the resistance is suitable for Lebanon; what contradicts the resistance and the war for national sovereignty is only suitable for Israel. National patience is a national necessity unless it comes to Lebanon’s interests, and national hypocrisy is of no benefit. The ability of the 4th brigade is a strategic capability within a series of capabilities as significant as Lebanon's sovereignty and the total destruction of Israel. What the resistance possesses in Lebanon is beyond anyone's imagination. For the record, I say: the resistance in Lebanon is a historical strength and a sovereign capacity, a strategic guarantor, and nothing is greater than national sovereignty for them. Some malevolent voices hold no value at all, and the Israeli government is a criminal gang involved in mass murder and will not escape punishment."
