A new incident of harassment occurred in Cairo, where a woman jumped out of a "tuk-tuk" vehicle while it was in motion to escape the driver's harassment, resulting in multiple fractures and bruises. The City Nasser Third police station received a report from an engineer living in the area, accompanied by his sister, who works as an employee and shares the same address. She was injured with fractures and was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment.
The injured sister reported that while riding the "tuk-tuk," the driver changed the course of the vehicle and harassed her before she jumped out to escape the driver's advances. Authorities conducted an investigation, identifying and apprehending the "tuk-tuk" driver, who resides in the area. The vehicle used in the incident was also seized. Upon confrontation, the driver admitted to committing the act, and legal actions were initiated with the case forwarded to the public prosecution for investigation.
