Ja'ja Discusses Electricity Issues with Efram

The head of the Lebanese Forces party, Samir Ja'ja, met with MP Ni'mat Efram at the party's headquarters in Maarab. They discussed the general situation in the country and the region, particularly the electricity problem that "weighs heavily on the Lebanese citizen." They affirmed that "the only solution lies in involving the private sector in the production and sale process." They also addressed the issue of the illegal Syrian presence in Lebanon, emphasizing "the necessity for the government to inform the UN High Commissioner for Refugees of the illegitimacy of any asylum cards previously issued by the commission, considering that the sole authority for granting refugee status to any foreigner on Lebanese territory is the Lebanese state." Additionally, they discussed the conditions of the Jounieh Port and expressed hope that "it will be reopened as soon as possible following the encouraging step of appointing a new president for it."
