Kuwaiti media personality Fajr Al-Saeed expressed her opinion on Gulf artists, emphasizing in a video recording that she still prefers the artist Soad Abdulaziz, who holds a special place in her heart, and everyone knows she is one of her biggest fans in the Arab world. Fajr Al-Saeed posted a video on her personal account on X, discussing her relationship with Soad Abdulaziz during her latest media appearance. In response to a question from the interviewer about her opinion on Gulf artists, she said: "For me personally, Soad Abdulaziz is the most important person in the world. This is my personal opinion. I am a fan of Soad Abdulaziz; she knows, and everyone knows I am not just a fan, I am one of her greatest admirers and her art."
Regarding the interviewer’s question about her personal opinion on the art of Hayat Al-Fahd and Huda Hussein's recent artistic achievements, Fajr Al-Saeed replied: "I told you before, I am not following the recent artistic works being displayed, honestly, I am not following, and I don’t know who is excelling over whom; even they know I don’t watch." She continued: "But to be fair, Huda might excel for a while, and then Um Suzan can excel, or Um Talal, it depends on the capabilities of the work in terms of director, story, and actors. I mean, the actor is part of the work, not all of it. The success of the work means the success of the actor, and the failure of the work means the failure of the actor."
She explained: "We cannot judge an actor as having excelled alone; we must say that the work excelled as a whole. Huda's works may have excelled recently, so we cannot say that Um Suzan, the actress Hayat Al-Fahd, and Um Talal, my dear sister Soad Abdulaziz, have disappeared from the arena. Even Huda herself cannot deny that they are among the most important artists." She concluded: "If you asked Huda herself about her opinion on Soad and Hayat Al-Fahd, she would confirm they are better than her. There is no comparison between them; they have dominated the field for over 50 years. You are a star and do not disappear from dramatic works; this is true strength."
Fajr Al-Saeed Criticizes Saddam Hussein's Lawyer
Fajr Al-Saeed is known for her bold opinions, and recently she shared a video from a television interview in which she criticized Bushra Khalil, a lawyer for the late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. She commented on a tweet, saying: "Fajr Al-Saeed responds to Bushra Khalil; I demand you to hate me rather than love me." She added: "I am a fierce beast, and you are a lawyer for a depraved criminal who killed his people and murdered Shiites in the south and Kurds in the north, and his neighbors did not escape from him," after the latter had stated that Fajr Al-Saeed has the brain of an ant.
