Israeli Airstrikes Target Hezbollah Leader and Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli military announced today, Friday, the elimination of Abbas Adnan Muslim, a key Hezbollah leader overseeing the Aitaroun area in the Radwan Unit. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Muslim was responsible for orchestrating numerous attacks on northern Israeli communities and forces.

In relentless air operations, the Israeli Air Force targeted over 200 sites in southern Lebanon in the past 24 hours. The military reported that its forces neutralized a cell setting an ambush and dismantled a loaded Kornet missile launcher.

Simultaneously, the IDF continued its operations in the Jabalia region, eliminating dozens of operatives, dismantling infrastructure, and seizing numerous weapons. The operations uncovered a car bomb alongside several militants, who were swiftly neutralized by Israeli forces.

Moreover, targeted raids in central Gaza resulted in the elimination of several operatives both from the air and on the ground. The operations disrupted Hamas infrastructure and launch sites. Similar successful strikes were conducted in the southern Gaza area, where multiple infrastructure sites were dismantled.

In a related incident, sirens blared in Caesarea, south of Haifa, following an attack on the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier this week. The IDF confirmed intercepting a rocket launched from Lebanon towards south Haifa, coinciding with reports of explosions in Hadera, near Haifa, by the Hebrew media.
