The Israeli air force has launched a series of airstrikes targeting areas in Marjaayoun, Dbayin, Jebchit, and Nabatieh in Southern Lebanon.
Israeli fighter jets conducted two raids on the Kfar Tibnit area in Nabatieh.
A drone strike targeted a vehicle with two missiles on the Ain al-Mazrab - Sultanina road.
Additionally, two Israeli airstrikes hit the towns of Froun and Toul, while artillery fire targeted the town of Mansouri in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, most villages and towns in the Qada of Tyre and Bint Jbeil remain cautiously quiet. Surveillance drones are flying low over Beisariyah and surrounding areas.
Overnight, the Israeli army carried out detonation operations in the town of Khiam towards the plain area.
On a parallel note, Israeli army spokesperson Ella Wawyah wrote on platform “X”: “The army continues to operate on three fronts to eliminate threats to Israeli citizens. In the Northern Command, approximately 310 Hezbollah targets have been attacked, supported by the airforce, leading to the elimination of around 80 militants in southern Lebanon. This is concurrent with infantry corps operations to destroy terrorist infrastructure and eliminate threats to Israeli citizens and active forces in the region.”
Wawyah added, “In the Southern Command, systematic efforts continue to dig, uncover, and destroy underground pathways, focusing on the Khan Younis area. Moreover, over 20 militants have been eliminated, including three high-ranking members of the Islamic Jihad group and the head of the financial network for Hamas along with his deputy.”
She continued: “In the Central Command, during dozens of offensive activities in Judea and Samaria, over 50 wanted individuals were arrested, including those inciting terrorism, those involved in terrorist activities, and others possessing and trafficking in weapons. Around 250,000 Shekels designated for terrorism, a lathe used for producing weapons, a drone, combat equipment, ammunition, and over 10 pistols and homemade ‘Carlo’ weapons were seized. Simultaneously, army forces continue thwarting smuggling operations and reinforcing defense systems along the eastern and western borders.”
