On Thursday, a batch of humanitarian aid was delivered to the border towns of Debel, Rmeish, and Ain Ebel after a 21-day hiatus, following a journey that took nearly ten hours.
The delegation was led by Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Paolo Borgia, who accompanied a shipment of food, humanitarian supplies, and essential goods, aiming to support the residents and enhance their resilience amidst the challenging circumstances they face.
The residents of the three towns expressed their gratitude to the supporting entities, particularly Caritas Lebanon, in collaboration with the Apostolic Nunciature, UNIFIL, and the Lebanese Army, for the efforts that contributed to delivering the aid to its rightful recipients.
