Hezbollah's media relations department has issued a statement in response to allegations and falsehoods propagated by Israel regarding alleged breaches of the ceasefire agreement by Hezbollah. These claims, according to the statement, are attempts by Israel to justify its ongoing attacks on Lebanon and the massacres committed against civilians. Hezbollah firmly denies the accusations, dubbing them entirely unfounded and part of Israel's persistent efforts to mislead public opinion and sabotage the agreement between Iran and the United States.
Since Friday dawn, Israeli violations have exceeded 300 documented breaches and assaults, including air raids by warplanes and drones, artillery shelling using various calibers, and the firing of phosphorus shells on more than 25 towns and villages, including Nabatieh. These aggressions have resulted in over 111 fatalities and 176 injuries, with preliminary information suggesting the use of internationally banned cluster bombs by Israel.
Today's assaults alone have reached at least 180, causing over 28 deaths, including three Lebanese army soldiers, and injuring 35 others.
Hezbollah accuses the deceptive and treacherous enemy of never adhering to the provisions of any ceasefire agreements, neither on November 27, 2024, April 8, 2026, nor after the memorandum of understanding between Iran and America on June 14, 2026. Not even on the recent Friday, June 19, 2026, when Israel continued violating Lebanese sovereignty with air raids, artillery barrage, house demolitions, and terrifying civilians.
Hezbollah emphasizes the blatant exposure of Israel as the faction violating the ceasefire and undermining existing understandings. The statement argues that Israeli assaults are not minor violations but constitute explicit aggression, continuing the war in every sense. Hezbollah holds Israel fully responsible for its actions, with officials openly rejecting agreements and withdrawing from occupied Lebanese territories. It calls on nations and leaders, especially the United States, to pressure Israel to adhere to agreements and cease hostilities instead of making baseless accusations.
Hezbollah reaffirmed Lebanon's legitimate right, upheld by international laws, to defend its land and sovereignty against constant Israeli aggression. It warns that Israel's attempts to secure freedom of action for continued offensives are unacceptable and will elicit a response. Hezbollah states that expelling the occupying forces from its territory is only a matter of time.
