Hezbollah's Radd Slammed 'Trilateral Framework' as Factual Distortion

Mohammad Radd, head of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, criticized the statement released by the 'Trilateral Framework,' which reportedly includes the United States, Israel, and Lebanon. Radd condemned the statement for 'falsifying facts and concepts,' particularly regarding 'resistance and its rightful national role,' accusing it of 'twisting truths and adopting stances that contradict Lebanese sovereignty.'

Radd argued that the statement 'reflects the complete submission of Lebanese authorities to American hegemony,' accusing these authorities of 'colluding with Israel against the Lebanese people who reject occupation and are steadfast on their land.'

He added that the government's stance, as reflected in the statement, represents 'a relinquishment of Lebanese sovereignty, rights, and interests,' describing this as crossing from disgrace to 'distorting national will.'

Radd claimed the essence of the 'framework agreement' is, in his words, 'to maintain Israeli occupation of Lebanon,' asserting that the statement aims to provide the United States with an excuse to dodge its commitments to pressure Israel into fully withdrawing from Lebanese territories.

He further indicated that the statement, in his interpretation, reveals Lebanon's agreement, under U.S. supervision, to Israel's withdrawal conditions, including 'disarming the resistance as a precursor to an Israeli redeployment, not a full withdrawal.'

Radd concluded by describing the statement as 'ominous and categorically rejected,' likening it to an 'ominous omen' for Lebanon and the region, and called for adherence to what he termed the 'national and sovereign stance.'
