President Donald Trump has stated that his presidential duties have prevented him from engaging in swimming or other recreational activities, adding that he hasn't worn swimwear in a long time due to his packed schedule.
During a podcast hosted by the U.S. Second Lady, Osha Vance, Trump mentioned that he's unsure of how he'd look in swim attire, further stating that the pressures of his role keep him from considering such activities.
The President also explained that he avoids playing golf at the White House, despite available facilities, choosing instead to project an image to the public of being focused on his work rather than leisure, underscoring his commitment to his presidential responsibilities.
Trump's remarks align with statements from several of his close aides, who have previously attested that he works long hours daily and gets limited sleep, maintaining a lifestyle they describe as continuously work-focused.
This comes as Trump continues to promote his image as a "tireless worker," a description he has frequently used when discussing his performance in the White House, whilst criticizing some former U.S. presidents' management styles.
