Latifa Al-Droubi, wife of Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, made a public appearance again on Friday evening. The couple welcomed a group of Syrian women working in healthcare, education, and community activism in the United States at the People’s Palace in Damascus.
The meeting focused on discussing the role of Syrian women in the reconstruction and rebuilding phase, highlighting their involvement as active partners across various sectors, according to the Syrian news agency SANA.
SANA published photos of President Al-Sharaa and his wife Latifa Al-Droubi during the event, showing them greeting the attending women.
