Houthi Threat: Warning of Strikes on Saudi Airports and Ports

The Houthi group, officially known as Ansar Allah, has released a video through its military media showcasing what it describes as potential targets within Saudi Arabia, accompanied by the caption "The response is coming". This marks a significant escalation following the recent attack on Sana'a Airport.

The video highlights various critical facilities, including King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, and King Fahd International Airport. Additionally, it features Jeddah Islamic Port, Jizan Port, King Abdullah Port, and Ras Tanura Port, along with the coordinates of these locations.

In a related statement, Mohamed Al-Bukhaiti, a member of the group's political bureau, affirmed that their response to the attack on Sana'a Airport is "coming" and promised it would be "strong and painful," targeting vital infrastructure within Saudi Arabia.

These threats arise after the Houthi group declared that the airstrikes on Sana'a Airport signal an end to de-escalation efforts, vowing to retaliate against what they termed "aggression".

Conversely, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that their air defenses intercepted ballistic missiles aimed at the southern region, reporting no injuries or damage. The coalition confirmed its forces addressed the threats following standard military procedures.

The Yemeni conflict situation is witnessing escalating tensions with continued exchanges of attacks and accusations between the parties, raising concerns over a broader confrontation in the region.
