Fiery Exchange in Parliament: Jihad Al-Samad Clashes with Sami Gemayel

According to a report from "Annahar"'s correspondent at the House of Representatives, tensions flared during the discussion of a bill allowing officers to teach at the Lebanese University. MP Sami Gemayel claimed that the Defense Committee Chairman Jihad Al-Samad was unaware of the bill. Al-Samad retorted, advising Gemayel to "respect yourself and speak to me politely." Undeterred, Gemayel replied that Al-Samad was not worth his response. This further escalated when Al-Samad called Gemayel "low." At this point, the Speaker of the House intervened to resolve the issue.
