Iran Vows to Continue Military Strikes Until Peace Restored in Southern Coast

Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's Aerospace Force, has affirmed that Iran will continue its military strikes against what he termed the "enemy." He emphasized that these operations will persist until calm is restored along the southern coast and the Strait of Hormuz.

Mousavi stated that all Iranian territories represent a unified front. He added that precise and targeted strikes will be launched from various parts of the country and will continue until what he described as stability returns to the region.

In a related context, Iran's UN envoy condemned the US strikes targeting infrastructure within Iran. He claimed these actions threaten Gulf security and regional stability and accused the United States of "war crimes."

These statements come amid unprecedented military escalation between Tehran and Washington, following Iranian missile and drone attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar early Friday. These attacks prompted alarm sirens and extensive security measures, according to authorities in those countries.

Earlier, US forces executed a new wave of airstrikes on southern Iranian provinces, targeting transport and communication infrastructure, including major bridges linking cities and ports, as part of military operations that Washington says aim to undermine Iranian capabilities.

The US Central Command announced that the resumption of strikes since July 8 was in response to Iranian actions targeting commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. In turn, Iran launched attacks on American bases and interests in several Middle Eastern countries, escalating tensions and raising fears of a wider conflict in the region.
