Araghchi stated in a post on the platform 'X' that 'any aggression against Iran, including targeting infrastructure, will be met with a decisive and robust response.' He added that any entity involved in or supporting such attacks 'will be considered a legitimate target,' according to his remarks.
The Iranian Foreign Minister's statements were in response to threats made by U.S. President Donald Trump, who stated that the United States would target bridges or power stations within Iran if any vessel is attacked in the Strait of Hormuz.
In related developments, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that its forces are preparing for a new military operation described as 'regrettable,' asserting that the only way to avert war is by steadfastness and inflicting significant losses on the aggressor.
