Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz convened an extensive security consultation meeting in Tel Aviv on Thursday, engaging senior military and security officials to discuss the latest regional developments and prepare for potential scenarios amid escalating tensions with Iran.
The meeting included Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, Director-General of the Ministry of Defense Amir Baram, as well as the Air Force Commander, the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Head of the Military Intelligence Directorate 'Aman', the Home Front Command leader, and other senior security personnel.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Katz confirmed that the Israeli military establishment is in full readiness, issuing a stern warning to Tehran, stating: "If Iran attacks Israel, it will receive a devastating blow."
The gathering comes at a time when the region is experiencing an escalation in exchanged threats and statements between Israel and Iran, with Israel preparing to face any developments on various fronts, including long-range threats.

The report added that Trump's statements about targeting a nuclear facility known as 'Jabal Al-Fass', near the Natanz facility, have strengthened these assessments, amid Israeli claims that Iran has transferred thousands of centrifuges and possibly part of its stock of highly enriched uranium to the site.
According to the newspaper, Israeli security circles believe any US attack on this site could serve as a turning point, escalating the confrontation between Washington and Tehran to a broader phase, which might open the door for direct Israeli participation in military operations.
