President of the Republic Jozef Aoun met with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam this morning, Friday, at the Baabda Palace.
The President also discussed the security situation in various regions with Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmed Al-Hajjar, reviewing the measures and actions implemented by security agencies to maintain security and stability.
Additionally, President Aoun received National Defense Minister General Michel Mansa at Baabda.
During the meeting, Aoun was briefed on efforts to bolster the army's presence in several southern towns and villages, as well as the needs of the military institution.
