Beirut Port Introduces Electronic Payment via OMT

In its mission to modernize services and simplify payment procedures, the Beirut Port Management and Investment Authority, represented by Chairman and General Manager Mr. Marwan Al-Nafii, has signed a cooperation agreement with OMT. This agreement enables Beirut Port users to pay fees through the OMT Pay app or at OMT centers.


During the signing ceremony held at Beirut Port, Al-Nafii stated, "The launch of the electronic payment service is a key milestone in the modernization of Beirut Port, marking a shift towards digital services. It reflects the administration's commitment to developing the work environment and adopting advanced technological solutions in line with the latest global developments in port management."


OMT's CEO, Mr. Naji Abu Zeid, commented, "For over 27 years, OMT has been investing in building an extensive service network and operational infrastructure to meet the needs of individuals and organizations alike. Today, we bring this expertise to serve Beirut Port, anticipating this step to initiate a path that enhances the role of digital solutions in developing a more efficient and flexible administration."


This agreement stands as a practical example of public-private sector collaboration, supporting the modernization of public services and expanding payment channels.
