The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced that regional countries understand that security is not “a commodity that can be purchased from false mediators.” He urged them to build relationships, trust, and security without external players.
He explained that any plan that correctly identifies threats will contribute to regional security and prevent the instability caused by Israel.
The ministry indicated that reopening the Strait of Hormuz is conditional on lifting the U.S. naval blockade, emphasizing that Tehran is not currently discussing the imposition of passage fees through the strait.
