Lebanon's Dar Al-Fatwa has announced that the celebration of Prophet Muhammad's birthday will fall on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, corresponding to the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal 1448 AH.
On this occasion, the Grand Mufti of Lebanon, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, extended his congratulations to all Lebanese citizens, with a special emphasis on the Muslim community. He affirmed that the event strengthens the bonds of brotherhood, compassion, love, and the ethical values exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad.
Derian expressed his hope for safety, stability, and peace to prevail across Lebanon and the region.
