Wiam Wahhab, head of the Arab Unification Party, has issued a scathing commentary on the recent developments in Syria, drawing connections between the Israeli airstrike on the Abu al-Duhur military airport and Israeli incursions into Daraa Province. He linked these military actions to the Syrian authorities' measures against individuals related to the former regime, including members of the late Syrian General Rustom Ghazaleh's family.
In a post on his account on the platform "X," Wahhab stated: "Following the bombing of the Abu al-Duhur airport and the Israeli advance in Daraa, the Syrian regime responds violently by kidnapping a retired general and an old man, detaining Rustom Ghazaleh's wife and daughter, stealing her jewelry, and demanding that her children send money from abroad to pay them. Netanyahu is baffled by these developments. Rabbits of Damascus, shame on you!"
