Turkey today dismissed "baseless" Israeli allegations suggesting that Ankara poses a threat to its security by preparing to deploy troops at a military airport in Syria, which was struck in an attack attributed by the United States to Israel, as reported by "Agence France-Presse".
The official Anadolu Agency quoted a statement from the Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate, stating: "The false claims made by the office of Israeli Prime Minister (Benjamin Netanyahu) aim to legitimize the illegal Israeli air strikes that target Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity."
