Lebanon's Interior Minister Vows Rebuilding of Southern Cities

Lebanon's Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Al-Hajjar, has affirmed that Lebanon will rise stronger than ever before. He emphasized that the cities and villages of the south will be reconstructed through the will and determination of their residents, supported by the efforts of local municipalities.
During a meeting with southern municipal delegations, Al-Hajjar expressed his hope for Lebanon to experience peace and security, noting that the Lebanese people deserve to live in safety and stability.

Al-Hajjar met with the head of the Bint Jbeil municipality, Mohammed Bazzi, and a delegation of municipal council members, who presented a detailed overview of the challenges facing the town. The presentation included a management plan for displacement and a return plan to be implemented when conditions permit.
The delegation handed Minister Al-Hajjar a report documenting the damage and Israeli aggressions against Bint Jbeil, along with a series of technical and logistical demands.
The President and members of Bint Jbeil Municipality thanked Minister Al-Hajjar for his support, reaffirming their full commitment to resilience and continuous service to the residents.

Al-Hajjar also received Hanna Al-'Amil and Aql Ndaf, heads of the municipalities of Rmeish and Debel, respectively, and discussed ways to support the municipalities in meeting the needs of residents and providing essential services.
Al-'Amil and Ndaf affirmed the steadfast commitment of the villagers to the Lebanese state and their determination to remain resilient in their front-line communities amid current challenges.

Additionally, Al-Hajjar met with the head of Al-Qubail Municipality, Eli Gabriel, to discuss municipal affairs.
