Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that Israel has not agreed to the deployment of an international force to stabilize the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu's office has refuted reports from Israeli media suggesting that the security cabinet had decided to allow part of the force to start operating in a specific area of the devastated sector.
He stated: "Israel has made it clear that there will be no reconstruction in the sector before Hamas is fully disarmed."
