The Army's Directorate of Orientation has released the following statement:
"Army units will conduct training exercises as follows:
- From August 25, 2026, to October 31, 2026, inclusive, daily from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM, in the Al-Kaa – Hermel region, Riyaq Air Base, Ras Maska – Koura, and the Hanoush Farm field - Hamat.
- From August 25, 2026, to September 1, 2026, inclusive, daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, in the Al-Aqoura shooting range - Jbeil.
These exercises will include daytime aerial shooting and live ammunition firing using medium and heavy weapons.
The Army Command advises the public to avoid approaching the specified training areas during the mentioned times and places."
