The Israeli military, through spokesperson Ella Wawiya, disclosed on the "X" platform the details of a clash that erupted today, Monday, in the Shekih - Al-Boufor Heights in southern Lebanon. According to their claims, an Israeli unit exchanged fire with a "Hezbollah" militant, resulting in the militant's death and two Israeli soldiers sustaining minor injuries.
Wawiya stated that a reconnaissance unit from 'Golani' was conducting a sweep of the area when a Hezbollah member, positioned within a building, opened fire on the Israeli soldiers.
According to her account, the unit returned fire and killed the militant. During the skirmish, two Israeli soldiers were lightly wounded and transported to a hospital for treatment after notifying their families.
Wawiya added that shortly afterward, Israeli forces launched shells at the location where the militant was positioned, confirming the fatality.
Furthermore, she announced that the Israeli army conducted attacks on weapon depots, command centers, and additional infrastructure in the area, allegedly belonging to "Hezbollah."
